After the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti in January of 2010, The “School of Hope” opened its doors in Port-au-Prince, welcoming children in 1st – 4th grades. The following year, a preschool class was added. A class has been added every year, with the School of Hope currently serving students through grade 13.
In 2016, our sister school opened in Miquette's hometown, the village of Saint Michel de L'attalaye. The School of Hope in Saint Michel currently serves students in grades Pre K-2, with plans to add a class each year, through grade 13.
